Hows the demo going?
I tried the demo on my live account but it didnt work. I was moving and couldnt get online to place it on demo . I load it today.

I've got the EA on a live account now. I purchased a one month "test" subscription and so far I like what I see. It opens very accurate trades. There are some losing trades of course but the majority of them are winning (and lost lasting - long trending) trades so as long as this keeps up it's all good.

I'll probably keep up the subscription once I put some more $ in my live account.

I just tried out the demo yesterday on a demo account. My only concern is that the default setting has a Take Profit of 0 and not quite sure how it decide to take profit. Yesterday, there was a 50 pip gain but it didn't take profit and now ended up with a 10 pip loss.

From your experience, how many max trades does it open simultaneously and how often does it place trade?

It simply uses a trailing stop of 170, so it just simply leaves the trade go until eventually it hits the trailing stop. Now this is assuming that the trades gets past +170 pips. Don't forget this setting is adjustable and you can even use MT4's optimizer to figure out the best setting for the current market conditions.

The 10 pip loss is nothing. It has a default stop loss of 200 pips.

It open only 1 trade at once.. As for how often it trades, this of course varies, so I cannot give you an answer as it would be meaningless. Checkout the trade history I posted if you want a very very vague idea of how often it traded in the past few days.

I am quite disappointed with the performance over the past week. My account went from a +10% return to a -3.6% return. I understood the trading difficulty given the sideways market conditions from July 31st to August 4/5th but the large losses on the downtrend are definitely disturbing.

I asked William Boatright what was going on and posted his response on my latest blog post. I haven't given up yet but have cut my risk setting in half.

Just goes to show you not to get too excited in the forex world, as everything can change in a matter of minutes.

I have purchased a one month subscription but I do not intend to renew it.

For the time being I will stick to manual trading. I'm beginning to come to the realization that searching for some easy or automated way to wealth in the forex world is illusory and will only lead to loses. I already nearly killed two of my live accounts with these damn "expert" advisors.

I started 3 bots at almost the same time on Euro/USD H1 and USD/JPY H1. All started on 1st August.

Profitstream Advisor = from $4000 drop to $700++ balance
Forex Autopilot = from $10,000. Now having -$7,000 still in open trade
Bogie = from $4000 to $3600++

So all in all, the Bogie still ain't so bad.

For FAPS, I am not sure where is its stop loss. Doesn't seems like it has one and really give you a runaway loss.
