Default Pacific & Western Bank of Canada - New king of high interest savings accounts

Hey everyone. This post mainly geared towards Canadians, but I just wanted to let you all know that I found a Canadian bank that pays an even higher interest rate than the current champion - ICICI Bank Canada. The name of this new bank is Pacific & Western Bank of Canada. Here you can see that their current rate of interest is 3.50%

Pacific & Western Bank of Canada - Rates

The only catch is that the minimum account size is $10,000 CDN

ICICI Bank Canada currently pays 3.40% so 3.50% isn't all that much better, bu t if you have large sums in one tenth of a percent can make a difference.

I would appreciate it if any existing clients of Pacific & Western Bank of Canada were to share their opinions and experiences with this bank.

Cheers,
Alan
